The Loyalty feature in LithosPOS allows you to reward your customers, manage gift cards, and enhance customer satisfaction. By offering loyalty points or a loyalty amount based on customer spending, you can foster repeat purchases and boost customer retention.
Customer Loyalty in LithosPOS
Loyalty in LithosPOS is used to reward customers for their purchases or visits and encourage them to return to your business. LithosPOS offers three types of loyalty programs that businesses can use to reward customers based on their purchasing behavior:
- Loyalty Points – Customers earn points based on the amount they spend on purchases.
- Cashback – Customers earn cashback as a percentage of their purchase amount, which can be redeemed like cash.
- Visits – Customers earn points based on the number of eligible visits they make, regardless of how much they spend.
The loyalty program helps businesses increase repeat purchases, improve customer engagement, and build long-term customer relationships.

1. Loyalty Points
Customers earn loyalty points based on the purchases they make. The points accumulated can be redeemed according to the loyalty program configured by the business.
When Loyalty Points is selected as the loyalty type, this is how you configure customers earn and redeem points.
Bill amount to earn 1 point : Set the purchase amount required for a customer to earn 1 loyalty point. For example, if this is set to ₹100, the customer earns 1 point for every ₹100 spent.
Points per ₹ redeemed : Define the cash value of the loyalty points when they are redeemed. For example, if this is set to 1, then 1 point is equivalent to ₹1.
Minimum points for redemption : Set the minimum number of points a customer must have before they can redeem their points. For example, if this is set to 50, the customer must have at least 50 points to redeem them.
2. Cashback
When Cashback is selected as the loyalty type, customers earn cashback based on a percentage of their purchase amount. The cashback is added to the customer's loyalty balance and can be redeemed like cash on future purchases.
Cashback Settings
Cashback % : Set the percentage of the purchase amount that the customer earns as cashback. For example, if the cashback percentage is set to 5%, a customer spending ₹1,000 earns ₹50 as cashback.
Min cashback to redeem : Set the minimum cashback balance required before a customer can redeem it. For example, if this is set to ₹50, the customer must have at least ₹50 cashback available to redeem.
3. Visit
Customers earn loyalty points based on the number of times they visit the business. Points are awarded for each eligible visit, encouraging customers to return more frequently.
Points per visit : Set the number of loyalty points a customer earns for each eligible visit. For example, if this is set to 100, the customer earns 100 points each time they visit.
Points per ₹ redeemed : Define the cash value of the loyalty points when they are redeemed. For example, if this is set to 1, then 1 point is equivalent to ₹1.
Minimum points for redemption : Set the minimum number of points a customer must have before they can redeem their points. For example, if this is set to 50, the customer must have at least 50 points to redeem them.
